Refund policy

When a refund applies, when it does not, and why.

Last updated: September 2026

The short version

If we have not started work, you get your professional fee back. Once an application has been filed or a government fee has been paid, that part cannot be recovered — by us or by anyone.

Professional fees

  • Before work begins — full refund of the professional fee
  • After work begins but before filing — partial refund, in proportion to the work already done, discussed with you before it is processed
  • After filing or submission — the professional fee is not refundable, since the work has been performed

Government fees and statutory charges

Amounts paid to a government department, portal or authority are not refundable by us under any circumstances. Once paid, they are held by that authority and are outside our control. This applies whether the application is approved, queried or rejected.

Rejected applications

If an application is rejected because of an error on our side, we correct and refile it at no additional professional fee. Any fresh government fee required for the refiling is payable again, because the original one is not returned by the department.

If an application is rejected because of inaccurate or incomplete information provided to us, or because of a change in regulations or departmental practice, the professional fee is not refundable.

Software subscriptions

The PDF Highlighter free demo exists so you can evaluate the tool before paying. We recommend using it.

  • Subscription fees are not refundable once a subscription period has begun
  • If a technical fault on our side prevents you from using the software for a sustained period, we extend your subscription by the affected time
  • You can cancel at any time by not renewing — access continues to the end of the paid period

How to request a refund

Write to support@truelinesolutions.in with the service, the date and what happened. We respond within three working days, and where a refund is due we process it to the original payment method.

Questions first

If something has gone wrong, tell us before asking for a refund. Most problems are a missing document or a departmental query, and those are usually fixable.
